1. Who we are

Cook Today ("the Service") is operated by Jóna Oszkár, a sole individual based in Hungary ("we", "us"). By using the Service you enter into an agreement with us.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms.

3. The Service

Cook Today suggests AI-generated recipes. Recipes and outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for special diets — always verify ingredients, quantities, cooking temperatures, food-safety steps, and allergen information before purchasing, preparing, or consuming any dish. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

4. AI-generated content, allergens & no warranty on recipes

All recipes, ingredient lists, quantities, substitutions, nutritional hints, and cooking instructions on Cook Today are produced by a third-party artificial-intelligence model and are provided for inspiration only. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsafe, and may include ingredients you did not expect.

The allergen filter, the "include" and "exclude" ingredient filters, and any other dietary preferences are best-effort guidance to the AI and are not a guarantee. A generated recipe may still contain ingredients you marked as an allergen or excluded — including major allergens such as milk, gluten, eggs, nuts, soy, fish, shellfish, sesame, mustard, celery, sulphites, lupin, or molluscs — and may also misname, mislabel, or omit ingredients.

We make no warranty that any recipe is accurate, complete, safe, allergen-free, suitable for any specific diet, medical condition, or religious requirement, or fit for any particular purpose. If you, or anyone you are cooking for, has an allergy, intolerance, medical condition, or strict dietary requirement, you must independently verify every ingredient and instruction before purchasing, preparing, or consuming any dish, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any allergic reaction, illness, injury, damage, or loss arising from reliance on, or use of, any AI-generated recipe or filter result.

5. Acceptable use

You must not: (a) use the Service unlawfully; (b) attempt to defraud, spam, scrape, or interfere with the security of the Service; (c) infringe intellectual property rights; or (d) try to circumvent quotas or technical limitations.

6. Account & accuracy

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Information you provide must be accurate.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and the AI-generation pipeline. You may use generated recipes for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, security risks, or repeated policy violations.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. This limitation covers, without limitation, any harm caused by inaccurate or unsafe AI-generated recipes, allergens that were not correctly filtered out, ingredients that were misidentified or omitted, or unsafe cooking instructions. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where it cannot legally be excluded.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.
